"The house reminds me of a log cabin, but spruced up with subtle design touches that give it a more modern feel without losing its coziness. We cooked a big meal in the kitchen every night and ate at the wooden dining room table under candlelight, which made me feel like a fancy pilgrim. It was great for just the two of us, but could have comfortably accommodated another couple. We found the location pretty central, too; it's basically smack in the middle between Middleburgh and East Windham, with lots of hiking trails within that radius. Recommend checking out Kaaterskill Falls, as well as the iconic local antiquing spots, like Coxsackie Antique Center."

"As soon as I walked up to the door, I knew this place was something special. I instantly fell in love with the art of the place, the warm lighting, the stunning stone fireplace, and the charming wood accents throughout. Every window offers breathtaking views of the trees, and has nearby creek for some fresh air. The beauty of the surroundings is matched only by the coziness of the bedrooms. This place has such beautiful bones and an undeniable charm that makes it unforgettable."

"We absolutely loved our time at this cabin! It's perfectly positioned a short drive from some great towns and nature hikes. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is also cutely decorated, adding to the charm of our stay. We also loved the cabin's location next to the woods and Catskill Creek. Can’t recommend this spot enough for a relaxing escape from the city!"

"This cabin was perfect! My husband and I travelled with our 22 month old daughter from NYC. We are familiar with some areas & hiking Upstate as we formerly lived in Albany and were happy to discover how close this cabin was to Vroman’s Nose among other hikes (Wyndham Peak). The cabin itself has been completely renovated! New bathroom, new kitchen, and the wood floors all sanded down so one can walk barefoot without fear of splinters! Additionally we just found the ambience so charming - there is a field in front, multiple creeks to the side and great trees all around; gorgeous setting. The hosts/owners of this property did everything right! It feels very private and peaceful. Definitely recommend to others. One of my best AirBnB experiences"

"Absolutely stunning cabin! My husband and I do custom interior finishing, and we really appreciated the craftsmanship. Even though it rained half our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed just staying in by the fireplace, soaking in the eclectic cabin vibe. Whoever designed the place is genius. It was a feast for all the senses, beautiful to look at from every corner of the house, the plush arm chair was like petting our cat, the firewood smell in the air and hearing the birds and the rain, it was just what we needed. Peaceful end of the road yard, backing into a lovely creek. It was a truly serene experience. We really hope to come back soon, perhaps regularly :)"

"Just left and already trying to plan a trip back! By far my favorite stay. Beyond thoughtfully decorated with a perfect mix of a rustic cabin and contemporary cosmopolitan vibe (Aesop and diptypque candles :p) Super cozy, felt like staying in someone’s intentional, lived-in home rather than a rental. Kitchen was stocked super well for those who like to cook! Guidebook had great selections for local antiques and shops as well. We had plans to go to dinner but decided to stay in because of how lovely the home was. Very much looking forward to coming back."
